Races
Ripon is a family and beginner friendly event, with a range of distances and formats to choose from. We have a large focus on junior racing, with our junior races forming part of the Yorkshire junior series, and being the only open water triathlon for the juniors in the series. For adults there is a Sprint or Standard triathlon distance to choose from, with Aquabike and relay options for those who don’t fancy doing the triathlon individually.
European qualifier
In 2026 we are delighted to be hosting a qualifier event for the European Sprint Championships. Those wishing to qualify will be in a separate wave to ensure fair racing. To be eligible to qualify you need to be a Core or Ultimate member of British Triathlon through your home nation, and register your intent before 5pm on the Friday before the race. Please ensure you tick the option that you want to qualify when you enter so we can ensure everyone is in the right waves.
